Welcome to my website! This bio is currently being written in the middle of the unfortunate Global Pandemic 🦠, which has pushed me to making this website. I think it’s time to say goodbye to my free Wix Website 👋, whilst you were so good to me while we were together, it’s time for bigger and better things. Side note - shout out to my parents for giving me such a unique name. Jokes aside, I’m glad I am able to claim the domain joantran.com for my own (yay!). Lets have some fun with it!

I’ve been working on some designs and photography for a while now and you’ll see me working on them whenever I get the opportunity to. I want to share my new design projects with the world and expand my creativity along the way! 🖌️📸

What’s the story behind ‘Joan Of Arts’?
I made my Instagram 'Joan Of Arts' back in 2018 to showcase my Graphic designs & Photography for my Communication Design unit at Monash University. The name is intended to be play on the French Saint Joan Of Arc, with us both sharing the same first name, and arc and arts kind of sounding similar. Whilst that was the idea and intention, overtime I’ve realised that it looks a lot like ‘Joan farts’ on Instagram, due to the fact the handle @joanofarts is all lowercase. Oh well! I guess it’s stuck with me now 🤷♀️.
